San Luis Obispo Mobilehome Residents Assistance Panel (SLOMAP) has volunteers who provide resources and information to mobilehome residents on matters which involve various aspects of mobilehome living. We also have local government contacts within each jurisdiction who are able to advise us. Some SLOMAP members also belong to GSMOL (Golden State Manufactured Homeowners’ League), which enables us to benefit from the programs and services GSMOL has to offer as well. SLOMAP advocates for ways to protect and enrich the quality of lives of families and seniors. To discuss a specific concern, call a Board member (listed on the CONTACTS page) and you will be put in touch with a SLOMAP representative in your geographical area. We will answer questions about local rent control ordinances, tenants’ rights, and the Mobilehome Residency Laws (MRL).
On the RESOURCES tabs, you will find a list of non-profit agencies which provide services and support for residents who live in mobile/manufactured home parks. We have provided both phone numbers and websites for these groups for easy access. The purpose of the SLOMAP website is to offer mobilehome residents relevant and timely information. We welcome your feedback. Please email your comments to firstname.lastname@example.org.
